Who wants to come along to the first ever Scottish Clan Ride out!
This will take place on Friday 13th to Sunday the 15th of September 2024.
The HQ will be based in the adventure capital of Scotland, Aviemore, part of the cairngorm National Park. A playground for adventure seekers, nature lovers and free souls alike. It has a little bit of everything, and will have you wanting to explore more of its beauty after this weekend - we have no doubt!
Aviemore is a special place for co-owners Ben and Chris. Deviate Cycles was conceived in the Cairngorms during a guided tour, 10 years ago. It has a special connection for Ben, who grew up exploring these very mountains, and where his love for adventure really began. We want to take us back to where it all started!
Riding levels:
Beginner - you are relatively new to mountain biking but can ride greens and blues. Beginner rides will include a flowing journey, through the forest and will take you on a magical mystery tour of the cairngorms. The pace will be easy.
Intermediate - You have progressed to more technical terrain, and can ride reds, and some blacks. You are confident to tackle some features but need to stop and have a look.
Intermediate rides will require more skills and take in more technical terrain. The ride will be fast and flowy with some rolling rock and roots sections so having confidence with these types of features is essential. We will go on an adventure that takes in some of cairngorms finest single tracks
Advanced - you are comfortable riding most trails and features, you have the skills and confidence to assess as you go and know you can tackle most features the trail offers.
This will be a day to remember, exploring the cairngorms big mountains in one adventure loop, that takes in some of the best descents in scotland. Get ready to experience what the hype is all about!

It’s not only a chance to explore Scotland by bike, it’s a chance to get to chat with the Deviate team, co owners and the ambassadors.
What to expect?
You can expect 3 days of guided trips across the stunning cairngorm mountain range, catering to all levels of riders.
Saturday night we will host BBQ and drinks - a chance to share stories, meet new riding friends and, if you fancy, dance like nobody's watching!
Please note you will have to book your own accommodation, and food for all nights except Saturday where we will provide BBQ and drinks included in the package.
