These MTB Winter Workshops at Glentress and Innerleithen sharpen your skills, boost confidence, and help you ride technical winter terrain, mud, roots, corners, drops, and more, while building resilience that carries into spring.

Beginner winter skills

  • This workshop helps beginner riders gain the confidence and skills to ride through the colder months with control and ease.

    You’ll focus on core winter riding techniques: body position, braking, line choice, balance, and build trust in yourself and your bike.

    • Navigate trails in muddy, slippery terrain

    • Master line choice in wet conditions

    • Tackle roots, rocks, corners with control

    • Improve braking techniques, body position, and overall bike handling

    • Learn how to work with fear and build confidence

    • Develop calm and focus for every trail ride

    • Explore mindset strategies that complement your on trail skills

  • Boost stability, power, and endurance to complement your riding, with this optional add on.

Festive social ride

  • Join us for a fun, social, and festive ride at Glentress.

    Dress in your favourite Christmas jumper and enjoy a cheerful ride! All levels welcome.

    All ticket proceeds go directly to support the Tweed Valley Trail Association (TVTA), minus a small booking/admin fee, so you can celebrate the season while giving back to your local trails.
